I like to use pictures in my games.

I used Google Images and used to find lots of GIF and JPEG pictures that I could use but now it is all alphabet soup ones that you can't paste and have them show in the threads.

Any ideas?

Well ... naming them with the three letters of the game followed by something ... and/or creating folders for each game.

Beyond that, I think PNG is a better format for pics. IT seems to be more 'efficient' that GIF or JPEG. I use Gimp to scale images so that they 'fit' within the size limits here.

Are you linking to the pictures or uploading them in a gallery?

If you are linking, that means every time the pic is loaded or viewed you are using that site's bandwidth to display the pic. Some sites have begun to lock down on that.

Take an old japanese tradition, send it to an alternate future and give it a ridiculous-sounding upgrade, add great character development, excellent animation and more tank savvy than any anime series has a right to and you get the 2012 hit series "Girls und Panzer".

The acceptable deceit is that, in the future, the traditional instruction of girls and women in the use of the naginata has been replaced by the more modern martial art of sensha-dō ... that is ... tank battles as an intramural sport. Yes, it sounds ridiculous, it probably is ridiculous, but they actually make it work.

The reason I mention it is that one of the local High School tank crews - Rabbit Team - really love a certain movie and in the final battle at the end of the series there's a you-can't-help-but-smile homage to Kelly's Heroes: in their very underpowered tank they manage to trap their opponent - and of course their opponents use top of the line German tanks from WWII - the exact same way Oddball takes out the Tiger trapped in a narrow alley.
