Gypsy cackles with glee as she has the last safe card for the former Row 2, upping the point total to 12 and waiting as AJ and Weez each try to not be second. AJ finds himself holding the lowest two cards, destined to bust turn 9, and able to avoid busting turn 10 by going low-high. He does so, with a 5-point card, collecting Row 4's 5 points. Gypsy comes up next, nervously playing 58 and relieved to take the last spot on the former Row 1. But then she realizes she still has a 59 and she's cornered herself! If only someone will rescue her! Weez, ever the chivalrous one, helps out by busting that Row, saving Gypsy from being hoisted by her own petard. Thanks, Weez! Argus finds himself arriving last, with two cards above the two high-point rows. He goes high-low, perhaps hoping the higher first card would permit someone to play under him. Everyone lines up in the same order. AJ benefits from the wisdom of his low-high choice, with plenty of room on Row 1 for his 39, and even room for Gypsy's 59. Weez finds herself alone on Row 2. Argus perhaps should have compared notes with AJ, as low-high would have saved him the lead in the game. Instead, he ends up busting Row 3 for 8 points to finish the round, letting Gypsy sneak into the lead!
