While the high-low spread this turn is the same as the previous, this time players actually land on different rows!

Gypsy lands on Row 1, happy to unload her 2 without taking points. Argus plays on Row 3, followed by AJ at some distance. And Weez fills up Row 4, trapping anyone with a 3-digit card...

Weez, Gypsy, and Argus squeeze in to Row 2, holding up a "no more room" sign. AJ shrugs and grabs the last spot in Row 3 instead.

Argus spies the only free spot on the board, looks around, and snags it while nobody's looking!

Which means, the next person to play just has to take points. And that's Weez, who ends up at the end of Row 2, collecting 7 points while AJ and Gypsy slide in behind with a relieved sigh.

If Weez's hope was to try to stay competitive with Gypsy for the lead, those hopes are being steadily dashed.

Choices are slim, and players start making tactical decisions about taking a few points now or potentially more points later.

Argus steps up to the plate for Row 1's 5 points, sparing Weez another turn, as AJ slips quietly in the back.

As options dwindle, players make some difficult choices.

AJ starts the point-taking for the round with an intentional choice of 3 points rather than whatever turn 10 would bring. This spares Gypsy the trouble, as she plays her last low card, hoping someone clears out the high rows.

And Argus obliges! While both he and Weez had two high cards, he is forced to take the 12 point row while Weez contemplates that her 2nd turn move this game was probably not ideal, collecting 9 points.
