There's room for two on Row 1, and three players rush for the spots. Argus and Gypsy high-five as they watch AJ show up only to be turned away at the door! Only 6 points, could have been worse.

Weez, meanwhile, stays as far away from Row 1 as possible.

Playing the 11 when the lowest row has a 12, and taking out the second-lowest row is a great idea! I know someone who did it in Gypsy's game! smile

AJ follows my lead in this game, swiping row 2 for a point.

Weez lands on the 12 where she expected, although it's a row higher. Argus and Gypsy land on Row 2 where they expected, although it's a different Row 2!

The 11*5 apparently started a trend, flushing out the 22*5 and 33*5, along with two other cards to fill up Row 1 with 19 points for some lucky player to take home!

Three out of four players surveyed said they'd prefer 4 points to 19, and played under the 52. Weez was the lowest and elected to swipe Row 2, guaranteeing that anyone with a card over 52 would take a bucketload of points.

And Argus obliges, playing high in the vain hope someone else would be below him on Row 1. Ouch.

Gypsy avoids the risk of more than 6 points by claiming 4 points for Row 4.

That leaves 3 other players crowding into space for two. AJ and Weez combine to make an 8-point row, which Argus takes, leaving a 1-point row behind.

Weez looks at the empty spot at the end of the old Row 1, or the empty spots at the end of the old Row 3, but finds she's squeezed in between on the old Row 2, collecting 7 points for her troubles.
