For preparation purposes, this adventure will start several months from the end of the Lost Mines of Phandelver. You're all going to gather for the grand reopening of the mines for Highharvestide. Lost mines took place in the spring, in late Mirtul, The Melting. Here's a handy-dandy Calendar. The year is 1491 DR.

So this means we have another level and need to upgrade our sheets. Do you want us to upload our character pis to the Gallery and then our upgraded sheets to follow?

Now probably seems a good a time as any to let you know that I will be missing for much of August - away from 3rd to 27th! I am hoping to have some connectivity but as I am in 5 different locations where I have no idea of connectivity, I cannot make any guarantees.

Your official character sheet will be in Roll20. We can cull some of that down and place in the gallery. So step #1 is to update your PC in Roll20. It's a one-shot effort and after you learn a couple of tricks, it's really easy to do things. I'll put together a how-to video for everyone. The sheet does all the math and it makes playing so easy. If you are the type that is OK discovering things on your own, go right ahead and get started. However, my experience with it tells me that you're better off waiting for my video before you try to do it on your own.

Gypsy, I saw your post about August. I'm actually traveling to Israel for 2 weeks at the end of August so a mid-summer hibernation is not a bad idea (I'm gone from 8/17 - 8/30). That is the coolest story! I hope that when you meet your bio-relatives it's an awesome experience. I can't imagine having blood siblings that I've never met.

So do you have a link?? I don't see one here and I don't have one either :-/

I logged into Roll20 but did not do anything other than take a look around and cleared my chat window from previous game. I'm looking forward to this game.

I decided to shell out for the Roll20 module so there'll be a new "game" that you'll be invited to. I have some configuration to do before then. I'll send out official Roll20 invites and also post the link to the game here.

What about how we 'level up' our characters? Can we do it there?

You won't see much, not even your characters. Once you log in, I'll have to link you to your characters which is just a royal pain, but how it works. Once I get you linked, you'll be able to enter your character sheet. Yes, it helps you level ... to a degree. We'll discuss more when the time comes.

Hint: Don't add spells to your sheet. There's a super easy way to do that.
