DreamLyrics™ Play-by-Post Forums Modern/Historical DUC: Durham University Campus Character Update Guidance

It has been a good 9 months since you solved the murders and apprehended a serial killer. Back at University, you have settled back into a routine.. or have you? I don't want to prejudge your character growth but would like extra info for the new game.

Please consider this list. You can ignore some or all of it. Add in your own ideas. But please add at least a bullet point list of relevant comments under your characters pics in the gallery.

Looking at the list above, Ian & Ivan have a lot in common and might be friends? Likewise Levon & Skye? Up to you guys but I think you have all known at least someone else before coming on the trip

Have not yet heard from Pande about continuing so Ivan may or may not be around. Assume Shelta has quit Uni and returned home.

HHmm Emma would have started taking some basic self defense classes. Nothing advanced, but definitely something to show her how to throw a punch, or give her a chance to run away.

She would have looked in on Ian while he was healing up.

I hope she and Skye would have remained close... and definitely would have loved to keep in touch with everyone else.

Henri would still be working towards a degree in sound recording engineer and a minor in computer sciences so I would hope he will remain friends with Levon, Skye, and Emma.
Henri still has some guilty feelings towards Ian knowing that his suggested plan to make a flanking attack on the gunman resulted in Ian getting shot in the leg. While he would not bring this up with Ian at all, Henri would probably help Ian with anything if asked even though it looks like they have little in common interests.

No new interests or hobbies, but would probably start going to the gym to get into better shape.

Heavy workload right now. Sorry for delays. I'll start ruminating over what's happened.

Definitely Emma and Skye continue to hang out - even helping her with sparring. [And sometimes ganging up on Levon!]

I'll figure out some other bits.

No rush I still have prep to do. Some of that may be influenced by you guys!

Levon continues what he was doing. He's practicing martial arts and playing his guitar. He might be sparring with Emma and Skye, enjoying having them gang up on him Since Henri is into becoming a sound engineer, they're hanging out too, working on some new music.

It took a little bit for Ian to recover after being shot and he had a tense conversation with his parents about all that had happened and how he could be so reckless as to get himself shot. Of course then they both got all protective and all. Parents!

He would continue his interests, glad to hang out with any of the friends from the trip. He was appreciative of Emma's visit when he was recuperating.

Good stuff guys. Can I ask that you take a copy of your character pics and put them in the gallery here. If you do it then you can access the thread for future amends. That way all the character info will be available to us all. We can transfer relevant info from the PM threads too as my intention is to delete those once done.

On most levels, things picked up where they were before the trip: Skye continued to love hanging out with Emma, going shopping, designing and trying new styles; the added fun of sparring with Emma and Levon; visiting with the rest of the crew and catching up on their music. And of course there were still hardcore classes to attend.

But, the events at Mortimer House had an affect on Skye. The protective Eomeoni in her was awoken. She started to volunteer at a women's aid group and shelter. She reached out once to Alison's parents to check in on the girl, but they decided it was best for Alison to move as quickly os possible from the past. Skye even considered dropping out of school to join the military like her parents or the police department - so that she could protect others. But at least she realized that was just too much crazy for her -- Skye still really wanted to get into the music business. And lastly, her crush on Levon died down -- though she still felt close to him, it was more like a brother or close cousin. She started dating exclusively women - but nothing lasted too long or serious at this point.

Even with the mix of stress and bits of depression and feeling more adulting than ever -- Skye was also ready for a little adventure to shake herself awake.

Not heard from Pande. I will assume he is not interested for now.
