anyway... I can think of two other names from this movie.... One is an actress that I was beginning to wonder if her turn at a big franchise role was going to be both the high point AND the end of her career at the same time. But it seems she is finally getting a couple more roles offered to her. Maybe the sand and dust had to settle a bit. BUT- that really only sends us in one direction (and I'm not talking about the boy band)
so let's go with Mads Mikkelson

In other chains I recall the instructions suggested not trying to stump the fellow players, but the last few rounds have seemed to take well known actors and intentionally go to unpopular films. That's fine if the goal is to stump people. Is that the goal?
Anyway, I love the Disneyverse and Mads was in Cars, but rather than that I'll go with the 007 universe and the most recent remake of Casino Royale, my favorite of the most recent Bond's performances. | | | | Joined: May 2010 Posts: 17,060 Likes: 28 Mayhem Inc. At least that is what i hope happened Dame Judi Dench was in that one. (I almost went with Ivana Miličević since she is in some of my favorite movies, but did not think many would know who she was. She was in Down With Love and Head Over Heels, two of my favs )

Turns out I was wrong; I just checked. But anyway, Chaos Walking was only last year, was big budget sci-fi and starred Tom Holland, Daisy Ridley, Mads Mikkelsen and Nick Jonas, so it seemed like a safe bet. Wasn't trying to stump anyone. Alas, we had Dame Judy on page 1! | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 12,095 Likes: 20 Maris Imperium Moderator | Maris Imperium Moderator Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 12,095 Likes: 20 | Murder on the Orient Express | | | | Joined: May 2010 Posts: 17,060 Likes: 28 Mayhem Inc. And yes, Dame Dench was on page one, but that was more than 5 steps ago, so we should be safe | | | | Joined: May 2000 Posts: 13,213 Likes: 10 Wobbly Headed Administrator | Wobbly Headed Administrator Joined: May 2000 Posts: 13,213 Likes: 10 | Ah yes yes yes, it's all coming back to me. And that's why we try to veer clear of the MCU because you can cycle it round and round. Cool cool. Pfeiffer, Catsuit, Batman Returns, nuff said! So I'll go with Shelley Long, who starred in a few films whilst also being on Cheers | | | | Joined: May 2010 Posts: 17,060 Likes: 28 Mayhem Inc. Moderator | OP Mayhem Inc. Moderator Joined: May 2010 Posts: 17,060 Likes: 28 | You know she was in Outrageous Fortune.

What a brilliant film! I love how jam-packed films from the Eighties are.
Anyway...
Douglas was in 1994's controversial Disclosure.
I love how this film was all about a new, cutting edge technology, CD-ROM drives!
Though to be fair, optical drives are still with us today, going strong in the latest generation of video game consoles.
I have a SanDisk 128 GB USB3.1 pen drive right here that frankly is less useful in today's world. If I want to transfer 128 GB of data these days, I'll just zip it up and save it to the cloud. | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 12,095 Likes: 20 Maris Imperium Moderator | Maris Imperium Moderator Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 12,095 Likes: 20 | That was a cool movie. I honestly forgot about the whole CD-ROM thing as it was just a tool for the more interesting plot.
Anyway, Donald Sutherland was in that. | | | | Joined: May 2010 Posts: 17,060 Likes: 28 Mayhem Inc. Moderator | OP Mayhem Inc. Moderator Joined: May 2010 Posts: 17,060 Likes: 28 | He was also in The Hunger Games!
