By popular demand we have a follow-up survey, removing our prennenial favourite genre, Fantasy. Don't worry, we'll delve more into Fantasy in a separate survey but let's poll opinion on what other genre of games we'd like to play if Fantasy wasn't an option. Just out of curiosity!

Yeah, Other can serve as a "none of the above", for sure, though if everyone who voted Fantasy in the main poll votes Other here, then we kind of replicate the results.

Not sure that is right Nem. It could also mean that for others it is more about the story than the 'rules' like for me <weg>

HHmm it might help if those who do vote 'other' would say what genre, other than Fantasy, they would be interested in.

Really none. Different sub-genres of fantasy, sure, but otherwise nothing else really intrigues me. Thus "None/Other".

Maybe we should have an option on there that is just (None, or Fantasy or Die!)? To me Other means interested in a game genre not listed above, and NOT fantasy since that has it's own sub-genre vote going now.

To me, if you are voting OTHER as a stand in for fantasy, then OTHER will win just like Fantasy did before, and not tell us a thing on what games, not Fantasy, that some people would like to play in.

Just my opinion.


edit: HHmmm maybe have a None on the Fantasy sub-Genre would be helpful too. Maybe some players might not want a Fantasy based game, and prefers something else? Again, just my opinion. Alternately my cat made me type all of this, be mad at her instead

Yeah I didn't think it through, that last option should've been "Other Non-Fantasy". Unfortunately you can't edit polls after they're posted but Zeim explained his choice so all good.

Went for Soap - still sorry Mina's attempt at a gothic soap didn't take.

Historical or Pulp would still interest me though.
