FIRST!

As a note, I will be peopling things with heros and villains, and if you want to utilize some of those for your story you are welcome to, but if you want to create the universe a little by adding your own, that is perfectly fine as well. The more outlandish they are, the more I might want to make some input on them however.

As a note, I am seeding villains but if someone wants to use even one of those as their source, it’s good. For example being one of Enkidu’s recovered ‘projects’

Powers so far:
speed,
dark matter energy manipulation
Energy drain
Teleportation/gravity control.

If anyone has any ideas where I can find a good 'Campus map' for a relatively small amount of students but which still has facilities let me know. It could be a converted mansion, hotel, anything.

For at least a few of you you may possibly want to play a being brought in prequel if you want one of those let me know and I’ll arrange it.

That sounds good to me. Gives me a chance to frame my character's point of view in my own mind.

At this point I think I’ll go ahead and do one for all. Do you want it public or in a PM? On the one hand it’s a shame not seeing the fun stuff, on the other hand, if you want to compartmentalize secrets ... I’m in favor of public but will go either way.

Ruelle is always great for theme songs.... her stuff gets used in a lot of modern movies in tv shows... shadowhunters and shannara and so many others
I like using ruelle for my characters.

Well, SHe's supplied me with Nyx's theme in my head now, so there is that.

THat BEth Crowly one I sent you the link to, her other stuff is usually good for that. SHe write alot of stuff based on fiction so they are often 'Character pieces'

I completely agree with establishment of character in the early threads. My own writing is helping me cement who Anne is.

Silk- your pic format is .jpeg which is a variant of .jpg

dreamlyrics/ubb doesn't recognize .jpeg- that's likely why your pic links are broken. need to use a pic editor and resave them as .jpg

There are a few more cutscenes to come, all relate in some way to background, most but not all to pcs. It’s just grist for the mill.

So do people prefer I post actual images in posts, or links to images? Which works better for you?

I have so much trouble finding any pictures that I can post now from Google Images.

I prefer using Pinterest or some actor picture sites et al.

i like the pics in the posts- if loaded into a gallery/ use the medium version and it is sized nicely and automatically by dreamlyrics

i feel inline pics keep the flow going- help with the immersion... because there are no links to click and popups to look at... the thread flows as you look at pics in the in the message as they were intended to be seen and when as well.

I will try to do that as much as plausible then.

You guys can still post some stuff in the parlor, go to the main rooms, or request a different room or pairing if you want it. Npcs are available, other PCs, staff, students, all of the above.

Once Cadence made the leap to Mariel, she figured it wasn't going to be that long until she made a further leap to Anne as well, so ...

Oh I have absolutely no problem as a player, and Anne specifically said to Mariel to use her best judgement. I just noticed it and had to comment.

So, as a note, we have established it is possible for her to send some energy out, she isn’t very good at it, and maybe might be difficult for people other than Kemp right now who has some natural snap back of his own, but the possibility is not zero.

But once the last few of those are completed, do you want a few opportunities to interact with each other again - a few people have specific relationships and other revelations to work through, possibly, or would you rather move to the next set of set pieces?

Ok. So, I can either do some free form time, let the various dudes and dudettes mix and mingle again, or move on to another set piece. There is also the option of doing some things surrounding testing into academics or you can each just give me an indication of what such tests reveal about where they stand.

if you wish to move on- i will have her enter the dorm scene- pass on through to her room. her regisdtration test experience could certainly justify that- and I won't take up more time if others wish to move forward as well

Cadence's academics testing will reveal she is an above average 17 year old but not any more so than any other high schooler how has a pretty good gpa, and takes a couple AP course... and has pretty handwriting and dots her I's with little hearts (or she used to)

she is above average but no mega brain, might even have zero interest in some of the crazy advanced stuff ben and lamar were talking about

Well. I’ll post again shortly. It’s been odd. Tonight or tomorrow morning.

things have been very crazy this whole week- even before... but this week got even harder to find free time.

had a job interview on Tuesday and was told to expect a follow-up in a couple weeks- the winter storm in Texas was just the week prior and this interview got pushed back as it was... go to the interview and it only lasted 15 minutes, but this company is mechanical services company/ plumbing/ heating/ electrical, thus very busy after the storm. the next day, i got a call that hey wanted me to start a day later. I suddenly had to shift gears to dig out clothes i hadn't worn in many months.

and the job is hectic- i was mentally fatigued at the end of day 1 and just crashed. day 2 went easier but it just felt like a long day.

anyway. I will try to catch up, but i'm not sure how active I can be in the long term- it is olay to ghost my character as necessary if I fall behind so the game doesn't get slowed.

She has two aunties... Alchemy and Nyx (who are Mariel's younger sisters-I think they are younger)

So Cadence and Anne are her biological cousins.

So to go more complex for edification. Mariel was the first kind of her father. Her mother died. Her father’s second wife had two children, who were alchemy and Nyx. Alchemy had Cadence. Nyx had Anne. Mariel had Carmen.

At this point likely closing, unless I get some re-interest in picking back up.
