Weez suddenly finds her row 3 base obliterated but is relieved to find a new row 3 base which serves just as well.

Argus accompanies her there.

AJ and Exeter target row 4, playing high at this early stage. Never a bad plan

Row 1 has the most land available and everyone who wants a patch of their own comes flooding in! Trouble is there are 4 land grabbers and only 3 plots. Aqua gets the plot with a pond, Exeter the one with the big tree, Weez gets the one with the gently sloping yard

and Argus is out of luck, being swept away in a 6 point landslide!

AJ gets a nice new house on the row 2 development.

That 1 point row attracts a lot of interest. Some definitely more interested than others. Argus takes the bust whilst AJ, Aqua & Exeter follow on.

Exeter charges to the front of the queue of potential bustees. Is that a word?

He chooses to bust row 4 for 3 points leaving Argus & AJ feeling fairly relieved,

whilst Aqua tucks in at the end.

Weez is even more relieved as her 82 lands in the last spot of the new row 2.

With only 1 space every card is a gamble.

Argus is first. Not a bad option as he has a card under 82 so he takes the only space available!

Weez also has a card under 82 but unfortunately is just two places late to the table and thanks to Argus's late gift is forced to break the row for 8 points. I guess it could be worse.

Exeter and AJ collectively breathe huge sighs of relief as they follow her onto the row.

Aqua decides to take his medicine now figuring that it might well taste much worse later! So he plays his 102 for a 7 point bust.

That 1 point bust certainly attracts everyone's attention with some more serious than others. The most serious though is Exeter who busts row 4 for the single point... and everyone else piles on after him!

Both AJ and Aqua's play suggests they would be much happier if someone chose to play before them but are resigned to a bust if needed. Aqua grants AJ's wish and takes the 3 points from row 2.

This play however scuppers Weez & Argus who were intending to play on row 2.

Instead Weez busts the new row 2 for 7 points

with Argus heaving a heartfelt sigh of relief at a very narrow escape!

Exeter decides to bust row 4. Either he feels it is inevitable and best done now.. or he is still feeling under the weather and not thinking straight!

And he takes his 12 point medicine with good grace.

Lots of open space but not many card options to fit them.

Exeter sees a 1 point row and jumps in quickly, barely gets his feet wet!

AJ & Argus double up the points on row 2.

Now Aqua and Weez either opt or are forced to play high. But Weez plays very high so Aqua is duped into playing first. Much to everyone's relief he clears row 3s 11 points!

Weez can breathe again.

Quite a bit of space now but no control
