So was just re-watching the 1998 Godzilla (the one with Mathew Broderick) and I had to wonder why the 'copter' pilots were dodging 'the big guy' ... 'around corners & through the streets' ... trying to get away from 'the monster' ... instead of just going 'up' ... out of reach <sigh>
ROFL, yeah that is a stoopid!
Maybe they could not rise that high because the egos of the actors were weighing them down?
Naw ... the pilots were never really 'characters' in the movie ... not even sure they made it into the credits, so I can't imagine what their 'egos' would have been a weight problem based on their assessment of their own worth <weg>
Now they =could= all have have had 'acrophobia' and so could not get too far off the ground ... I could see that <chuckle>
