There is a lot that I can say about Finding You, but I will start off with I loved this movie! Perfect for a date night, or a cuddle-up with a hot cup of cocoa (which is what I did)!

Finley is an aspiring violinist who is taking a semester abroad in Ireland, just like her older brother did some years before. Along the way she meets up with Becket, one of the hottest actors in the universe (at least according to Finding You). As they get to know each other, mysteries present themselves to be solved... what does her brother's cryptic picture for Finley mean? Is it a message? What's really going on with Mrs. Sweeney? Is Beckett really the douche he seems to be on social media?

I saw the trailer a while back and it made me laugh, so I wanted to see this movie. I had some reservations... no major buzz out there, it did not hit any theaters near me (I rented it on Amazon), and the main romantic leading man is Jedidiah Goodacre. I've seen him in a few things (Descendants, The Order, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, etc.) and he is all right, but I could not picture him as a romantic lead. At all.

So I went in with moderate hopes. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Goodacre's acting in the past has been ok. This role showed another side to him, and showed he can keep up with a totally different character from the ones he normally plays.

Fell in love with the movie. Fell in love with the scenery (Ireland, can't go wrong with the scenery there!) and... I admit it, after watching this movie I would not kick Beckett out of bed for eating crackers.

This movie is a cute rom-com, but it also has some depth in it as well.

As Finley would say, "Not everything is the way it seems to be."

Definitely give Finding You a go! And fair warning to the Movie Chain gang out there. If I can work this movie into the chain, I will! So... just watch it already!
