New show on Netflix- super bingeable. Based on a nickelodeon kids cartoon- this one is definitely for mature audiences due to language mostly. wife and i have watched the first 4 episodes out of 6 and enjoyed it quite a bit- would have watched the last two if it weren't after 1am when we reluctantly called it quits for the night- last two some time today.

I did enjoy the show. I admit, I have watched the 6 episodes twice now... Friday was a slow day and binged it then, then did a rewatch over the last two days. I liked the series. The first time through, I was fitting pieces together (I had never watched the animated show) and once I knew how the premise worked, did the rewatch.

Fun. Definitely mature audiences. Like PP said, the language is there, so is a ton of pot use. With that in mind, kind of surprised it's being marketed as the new Young Adult show.

If you like The Magicians and/or The Order, it's a fun show that might help keep the blues at bay since those two other shows went off the air. Definitely hoping that there will be a season two.

One thing that was irritating to me though was that with the exception for one character, there is absolutely no reprisal for bad behavior anywhere in the show. I wanted to put the main character in lock down at the very least at several points in the show.

Other than that, fun ride, not many twists, but wonderful effects and a few characters that I really liked.

Just finished the remaining episodes and I agree on the need for structure... it being a school with a chain of command and a military component and a strong headmistress- they were kind of light on consequences. there is no stopping the bad behavior I guess- they're teenagers, but consequences are an important lesson to be taught for a YA audience.

but I liked it quite a bit and wanted to see more episodes...

I know, right?!? Did not see that particular event happening!

By the way, this would make a fun basis for a game <nudge nudge>

there are a few shows in this vein that would serve well as a game (nudge nudge back)

I thought it was "alright", not great. Many holes but entertaining. I don't try to overanalyze these shows.

I'm curious about season 2. BTW, only 6 episodes in the season.

Finish the 6 episodes last night! I liked it! Certainly enough that I do hope they do another series. Great casting/acting in that show.
