This is a History channel production about the last days of the Templars. Season 2 just dropped on Netflix, season 3 is still unconfimred.

The time is set in France during the reign of Philip IV. It lays some ground work in Acre before jumping wholly to France, primarily Paris. It absolutely doesn't shy away from the brutality of the time. It's an excellent series, and we are hoping they decide to continue.

The shining point of season 2 is Mark Hamill as Initiate Master Talus.

They do take some liberties, of course.

Yeah, I watched the first 6 episodes of this and it's really good, but to nobody's surprise, I couldn't take it the back stabbing kind of thing. I need Disney happy endings. It's how LMS rolls
