Fall 2017 ... its the end of the world ... - Sat 07/10/17 03:00 UTC

Girl's Last Tour
Slice of life at the end of the world.
The first episode was quiet, beautiful, empty, memories of what was were portrayed like memories - bits and pieces, shattered like a broken mirror, a parting fading away like the end of an old silent movie and soft and the dialogue was about everything and nothing and exactly what everyday chatter would be like and above all so very very human.
If they can keep it up this will be one to keep.
I had though the Fall season would be lackluster - now I have a show I cant wait for the next episode.
Both Girl's Last Tour and Made in Abyss (another excellent show from last season) use chibi style characters ... and then place them in a darkly real world. And what happens is unexpected ... the story doesn't become cute ... it becomes stronger and more riveting.
