When it comes to youtube, aside from music I like to watch Good Mythical Morning and Critical Role

Good songs Mina, like both of those. Real sing-a-long songs. smile

But MikeD, Leonard Cohen has been a favourite of mine since the 70s. IMO best love song ever written 'Hey That's No Way to Say goodbye' smile

I only vaguely remember 'Hey'. But I have always thought he has the most amazing voice!

I used this in one of my Fading Suns posts, when I had to look at matters from both the light and dark side.

I keep coming back to it lately, for many reasons ...

I am surprised I found it in a video game of all places.

I am surprised how many different covers of this song there turned out to be.

I remember when I first heard it and swallowed going ... ... no, no, no, NO!

I remember when I heard it during that last battle ... when the warriors of light from seven different worlds joined me ... amazed at the sheer power of storytelling and how perfectly SE matched mythology to game mechanics.

I remember the words of a Knight who stood by me when no one else would.

For those we have lost.

For those we can yet save.

Nice!

I always love it when a show I enjoy covers a song.

The magicians do this at least once a season.

Season 4, one of the characters trips out on iguana sweat (don't ask, just enjoy).

Dear God, Mina. I want my three minutes and fifty seven seconds back!!

And then I'll listen to a couple of my classic favourites.

Don't have the link, but Lenard Cohen's Hallelujah is one that comes to mind. I bet if you search for it you will find it <g>

Love Wallace & Grommit, especially Sean the sheep! grin

I just saw this one on Youtube and fell in love with the video. I liked the song before, but this cover is so spectacular!

To all of our DreamLyrics family that can't be here right now...

A sort of country version of Cohen but I prefer Cohen any day. Country is not my thing smile

No worries. There are plenty of genres that I don't really like very much either <wink>

And while I am not a 'big' fan of country, I =do= like his version of Boxcars. And since I have lots of other Cohen stuff, I will keep this around <vbg>

I heard this recently, I love mash-ups, and this one was, I thought, really good.
