Now knowing more about these ghouls and their tendency to swarm he will mention to everyone before changing, "I'll get up onto the ceiling and see if I can't catch them one at a time."

With that said he will shape-shift into a giant spider and carefully make his way up the large cavern's wall and will then stealthily start moving to the left. Once he finds a ghoul hopefully he can hit it with his web and give the archers time to kill it.

OOC: I'm going to need better direction from you all. I updated the latest map here. The way that I see it, you're going to areas labeled 1, 2 or 3. I'm guessing that you meant 2, but I don't want to guess. Oh, and ghoul 6 is gone. I'm just too lazy right now to remove him. Please pick one of the 3 choices and I'll situate you there and describe what you see.

Davroar seems to want to go somewhere else, please advise. I'll assume that he's high enough to be out of reach for the ghouls on the walls or ceiling The spider has darkvision 60 and blindvision 10 which is pretty nifty. Here's the statblock:

OOC: Well ... I moved Bern back with the group by the corridor ... because ... I thought we are going to 'tag' em one or two at a time, so as to be able to take them out that way ... until we have to fend off how ever many are left, here at the corridor, when the 'turn' wears off and the remainder come back. To that end, Dav changed into a spider so he could 'tag' them from out of their reach.

Anyone, feel free to correct and/or elaborate as needed <g>

OOC: Yeah, the corridor as a choke point really is best, for preference a step back away from the opening so their numbers can't come into play. We're basically pulling a Thermopylae.

He will climb up the wall out of reach from the ghouls and finding a spot between the two light sources that offers some shadow to hide in and wait. His intention is to throw his web at any ghouls that come back at the group, to give the archers in the group more time to shoot arrows at them.

[ooc: I move Davroar on the map, keeping 12 feet above the ground which I think would be out of reach of the ghouls. Neptune, how far can he shoot his web? ]

Davroar, in spider form, climbs the walls of the cavern. The rest of the party waits for the ghouls to return. Their hunger and the torch light, draws them back, now no longer fleeing from divine power. There are three groups. They are running as fast as they can for dinner.
Let's stay in turn order. So Chandan, Kriv, Bern and Davroar go, in that order.

He was going to say that there wasn't much else they could do ... but then he caught the movement. "To late now", he said. "Get ready all."

He has his bow for the moment, but he would be 'face to face' after just a round or two of arrows. He took aim and fired at the closest one ... then dropped his bow and pulled his sword and dagger.

Bern Bow at G2 MikeD rolled d20+8,d8+3 and got 18, 9

The dishevelled monk shambles backwards in the formation, gesturing for Kriv to step up and take a front row position alongside Luminmorn. Dragonmen to the fore!

"Come Ryssa." He says to the cleric, inviting her to stand beside him, and Chandan reminds everyone to "Let Bern through when the time comes."

That should give them Kriv and Luminmorn front.
Chandan and Ryssa second rank.
