Just re-watching 'Major Grom' and =that= is what struck me. A fun ... irreverent 'cop' movie from Russia <g> If you haven't watched it yet ... give it a go <g>

Did you ever watch Comrade Detective? Not quite the same thing since it's an American production parodying an Eastern Bloc production.

The episodes are too long imo but there's no doubt that it's a clever, well-executed idea for a comedy.
