Hazel O'Connor seemed a bit out of place (I think she was the only act on the main stage without a guitar on stage), but it worked. Alas I had to leave part-way through her set because it overlapped with Anne-Marie on the smaller stage.

That is one of the things I hate about the 'big' festivals ... you can't see all the acts because they have multiple stages with overlapping shows <sigh>

On the other hand one of the things that I =do= like about the big fests is that you get a much greater 'range' of acts and so can find something unexpected and wonderful!! <g>

A few bad clashes on this one; Odin Dragonfly and Curved Air on Sunday was the worst.

You prove my initial point <wink>

Well ... it wasn't =nearly= as good as being there to actually hear all the acts. But it =was= a great recap ... and now I am twice as sad that I couldn't be there ... but thanks for sharing anyway <chuckle>
